Healthcare and Care Connection Enhancements

WhatsApp Communication Channel is coming to the Command Center

Our new WhatsApp integration adds a new channel for communication as part of our app-free experience. It will allow members to start a chat with their care team using WhatsApp and allow care teams to be able to contact members using this highly popular channel. Our solution is integrated with our secure chat to keep conversations secure and manage member consent for communication (opt-in and opt-out). We expect the release of this new feature at the beginning of September 2024.

Introducing New Triage Protocols

We have implemented new triage protocols that will make for an even better triage process as these protocols were built based on the Schmitt-Thompson clinical content. This new triage technology services over 500 symptom triage protocols and has proven a 95% accuracy in multiple clinical accuracy studies.

The triage protocols have been made available in all Command Center production environments as of July 1, 2024. Utilizing these new triage protocols will be a huge asset to the clinical Command Center agents as these protocols will better align with their existing triage process and tools. Additionally, the triage process will be much better for members as they interact with the triage bot and can typically complete the triage within 1-3 minutes.

Within Q3, we will also release a behavioral health-related triage bot based on the updated triage protocols. This will be made available to Command Center agents and may be used as the agent sees fit. This will be just one component that supports a broader initiative of providing a robust and useful behavioral health offering from Pager Health.

Additional Important Enhancements / Features

  • Replaced Twilio video call technology in Command Center with Zoom video call features.

  • Released a new Web SDK version with security updates (July 2024).

Well Care Enhancements

Modernizing the Health Assessment and Introducing a Wellness Score

Pager Health is excited to announce the upcoming availability of a new health assessment delivered through a fresh new interface!

Our expert clinical team updated our question set to include new areas relevant to evaluating an individual’s overall health needs, and a new wellness score. This provides an easy and understandable way for users to gauge their overall well-being. With targeted questions getting to the core of issue and risk identification, we reduced our incumbent standard assessment by ~50%–making our assessment quick and easy to take. Please contact your account executive to discuss launching the new assessment on 1/1/25.

  • Adding the ability for a member to upload self-attestation documents within survey functionality.
